while not infallible, it's what I do rather than a 50/50,
is 1: place all my basic cc into the mods folder for the game, to check the game runs first, then
2: add back the 'suspects above' after having watched a new promo sims pack,
3: then add them back small folder at a time, inc script mods, & with the new updated mods, where possible
​4: then if a 50/50 is still necessary, that's the 'next step'.
